Postponed from November 2021, summer edition 2022! Celebrate the love for wild beer, wine, cider and food. During the weekend they the worlds of wild beer, natural wine and artisanal cider come together. Wild spontaneous fermentation is the central theme, combined with delicious food provided by nature. Spontaneous fermented lambic, sour beer, wild ale and mixed fermentation saisons. There will also be fresh local ipa's and some barrel aged stouts for a change.

Besides the festival there are several side events at different locations in the city.

Magnumparty

Magnumparty, one magnum per person. The more people, the more magnums! Expect exceptional natural wines and lambics from Tommie Sjef, Bofkont, Antidoot - Wilde Fermenten and many more. Max. 25 magnums, 25 people. Location: Cilinder Bar/ OOST Groningen.

Wild Walk

vrijdag 9 september 2022 van 15.00 - 17.00 uur

Wild walk in nature, wild picking with Mattias Terpstra from Nevel Wild Ales and Greendreamster. Mattias and Sanne will tell you all about wild nature and inspiring ingredients. Including beer tasting of Nevel beers. Walk starts at EM2 Groningen.

Baghaven Beer Brunch

Baghaven Beer Brunch, at Sepia with chef Fareeda van der Marel. Wonderfull beerparing brunch with 4 beers by Mikkeller Baghaven Brewing and Blending served by Ehren Schmidt. Including 4 courses, amuses, coffee, water and bread.

Herberg Onder de Linden

During the festival sessions at Wild Festival Groningen chef Falk van Essen from Herberg Onder de Linden will serve a delicious 3-courses beerfood pairing, you can pick up the dish and beer during the session. The exclusive beers will be from Nebuleus, Wildflower Brewing & Blending and Brasserie Cantillon. Two sessions, two times three different beers. More locations will follow, and maybe more brewers will join.
