Korea International Beer Award (KIBA), the first international beer competition in Korea, aims to promote the development of the Korea beer industry and increase the competitiveness of the industry through fair competition with international beer.
Furthermore, as a beer cultural exchange ambassador, KIBA aims to provide an opportunity to promote the excellence of Korean beer and the potential of the Korean beer market abroad, and to introduce excellent foreign beers to Korea.
The judging team awards gold, silver, and bronze to beers that have received outstanding evaluations for criteria such as balance, drinkability, and overall impression, as well as the 103 beer style requirements of the Beer Style Guidelines. KIBA’s awards of excellence will increase a brewery’s brand recognition and commercial appeal to consumers.
