After empty casks became available at King Cask, the idea sparked to start a special collaboration. We wanted to taste what our casks would do to a barrel aged beer.
We asked the brewers of Jotner to design the perfect recipe for a barrel aged beer.
Het Brouwdok was chosen to brew this special stout.
The barrels were aged on Terschelling before being bottled at Schoemrakker.
The original Stout and the four totally different barrel aged beers are the result of this amazing collaboration.
Store these beers in a dark and cool place so they will evolve in flavour.
