Beer brings friends together, but sometimes friends bring beers together too. We met Erwin van Moll when we were both spreading the craft beer gospel across the Netherlands. To capture the magic of those long ago days we got together once again to blend some of our barrel aged beers. Seven, in fact. From the Oedipus barrel store we rolled out some Berliner Weisse that had been aged on four white wine barrels and one cognac barrel. Erwin brought a saison that had been aged on two different cognac barrels. As a final flourish we added a fresh saison to the mix. Together they form a drink that will make you believe in the power of beer and friendship to change the world. Proost!
