This Belgian style Quadrupel has been maturing for two years and 9 months in an original Pedro Ximenex Sherry barrel that, after the sherry was taken out, also contained the BEEK Dutch Blend Whisky. The long maturation gives the beer strong sherry, whisky and wood notes which adds loads of character, taste and body to the beer. Truly a beast of a beer !
Barrel filled on 17th December 2021, Bottled on 16th September 2024. We actually forgot about this barrel, so that also explains the name...
