De brouwerij schrijft op de website over dit bier:

This is a collaboration with our friends at Vignaioli Contrà Soarda, an Italian winemaking family. After visiting them in 2019, we left with wine, yeast and barrels to create a series of beers that combine the best of both our worlds.
No grapes were harmed in the making of this beer: this is our witbier aged for a year in one of their red wine barrels. We then gave it a secondary fermentation with the indigenous yeast that grows naturally on the Vespaiola grapes.
