Moersleutel welcomes their friends of Gyrup Malt, a farmhouse maltster located in Thy, Denmark. They focus on heritage and heirloom grains providing flavors long gone. Moersleutel was dead curious to see how these grains would work out in their stouts, so they did what they do best: knowing by trying. This first iteration is a Emmer heavy stout. Emmer is an older variety of wheat with a distinct nutty flavor. On top of this unique malt they also added some of Gyrup own specialty malts. No adjuncts, no additions, just pure malt, hops, water and yeast.
